My poor sweet baby! Going home round 2! His bowel had a leak in it, it was pouring into his abdomen! They drained all the infection out of him and reconnected the bowel again. This time we have a drain in his abdomen. Again I need to give an enormous shout out to New Buffalo Animal Hospital, particularly Dr. Crenshaw! We just showed up first thing this morning in full blown panic mode, they did not hesitate, took him straight to a room and then for an ultrasound sound. They called the surgeon and she jumped straight out of bed and rushed to the hospital. 30 minutes later he was going to surgery. Then after all that she spent the rest of her undoubtedly much needed day off at the hospital, that closed at noon today, to feed Benny rounds of IV antibiotics and monitor him closely. Finally about 5pm she called and told us he is stable and he can come home. She gave us her personal number so if anything seems off tonight or tomorrow we can call her! She also wants us to bring him back Monday morning so she can give him another round of IV antibiotics, do another ultrasound to make sure things are still OK and keep an eye on him. This is by far the most amazing Vet I have ever dealt with!! Yall are some amazingly caring and compassionate people! We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for our baby!

We have an 80lb Great Dane/boxer mix that is not good around people and small animals. They treated us better than any vet I’ve been to. This is our second dog to bring in and the drs and staff are the kindest people imaginable. 10/10 definitely trust your furry loved ones to these amazing professionals
